Information on the artist

The Arctic Monkey's are one of the biggest Indie Rock artists in the world after releasing five very successful albums. However they came from humble beginning's, playing in clubs and pubs before fame. They signed to Domino Records in 2005, and the band said they were attracted to the DIY ethic of Domino owner Laurence Bell, who ran the label from his flat and signed bands that he liked personally. They have experimented with indie rock, psychedelic rock and hip-hop. Arctic Monkey's were one of the first bands to come to the public's attention via the internet, which suggested they represented the possibility of change in the way in which new bands are promoted and marketed.

Domino Records are now one of the longest running and most successful independent record labels in the UK. They have signed bands such as Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkey's and The Kills.

We have asked for permission from the record label to use the song in our project. This is important because we don't own the rights to the song.
